Of course, not everything Wolf People did has a medieval feel to it, but that probably isn't the point anyways. The point was the guys recreating some of that wonderful early '70s English vibe. A great discovery for me. Oh yeah, and these guys kept the album short, around 40 minutes, enough to cram on one vinyl disc (it's available on vinyl).

On Steeple, the first proper album from England’s Wolf People, the band takes up the challenge of championing the bluesy, psychedelic rock of their homeland. With a sound that’s deeply rooted in the fuzzy riffage of Jethro Tull, Hawkwind, and Cream, Wolf People pick and choose the best parts of that old British sound in a way that makes 8/

Oct 12,  · Wolf People have distilled some of the best things about late 60's folk (psych) rock and rebooted it for the present. "Steeple" is a great record, chock full of memorable tunes and tastefully wild guitar playing. If Richard Thompson had been in Mighty Baby or High Tide then they may have sounded something like this/5(38).
