   Philip Bailey turned to Nile Rodgers to produce Inside Out, his follow-up to Chinese Wall, and though Rodgers didn't turn it into a dance record on the order of his old band, Chic (the sort of thing he did do to other clients), the result is no more than pedestrian black pop, which is why Bailey 's secular solo career ran out of gas at this point and he willingly re-upped with the new edition of Earth, Wind & Fire.

Chinese Wall and Inside Out were his second and third solo pop albums for CBS, originally issued in and Chinese Wall, recorded in London and produced by Phil Collins, includes the smash hit # 1 duet with Collins Easy Lover/5(12).

   Walking on the Chinese Wall is a song written by Roxanne Seeman and Billie zbigoxsopassperreticomdurchmaldiscma.xyzinfo was the third single and title track of Philip Bailey's Chinese Wall album. It was released in by Columbia Records.. Phil Collins produced, played drums and sang, as part of the backgrounds. Josie James also sang background vocals on the song. The Phenix Horns and additional overdub recording took place.

   "Walking On The Chinese Wall" was the last song chosen for the album. It became the title track of Philip Bailey's Chinese Wall album. Phil Collins produced, played drums and sang, as part of the backgrounds, on the recording, however the song was not credited as a Bailey and Collins duet.
